Delicate Fairy Tale Nail Art

Hello my friends! I have a stamped design for this post. I don't do stamping designs very often, but I thought of this idea recently and HAD to do it and I'm so glad I did! I absolutely love the way it turned out and I love how delicate and dainty it is.

I started with three thin coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu. It's a very sheer white jelly and I'm in freakin' love with it! It's such a clean looking polish. 

After I let that dry I stamped the image onto my nails using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On. The image that I used was from the Bundle Monster plate BM-314. You can see all the plates from that set HERE. 

I let that dry for a few minutes to avoid smearing, because I then applied OPI Pirouette My Whistle over the stamped image. Pirouette My Whistle is a really nice fine silver glitter with sheer white hex glitters. I've been wanting this polish for a while and finally ordered it online. It probably looked like I was doing some pirouettes as I was dancing around the house because I was so excited when it came. 

After that dried for a little I applied one more coat of Don't Touch My Tutu to create this super cute jelly sandwich look. I love how it sealed the glitter and the design all together. It turned out so nice! I'm so proud of myself for thinking of this!

Then I used Out The Door as my top coat. I think I've come to the conclusion that Out The Door is my all time favorite. It doesn't shrink my polish, it has minimal smearing with nail art, and it's not a gazillion dollars.

This design reminds me of a fairy tale, but it would also be great for weddings. If you think about it a wedding is kind of like a fairy tale, right? It's also a nice palette cleanser if you're tired of wearing super bright or super dark polishes. It's always nice to wear something neutral for a while.

Neon Plaid : A Quick Stamping Design

This was a really quick design that I threw together because, to be honest, I have been extremely lazy all day.

I was casually looking through the new set of Bundle Monster plates and when I saw the center bottom image on plate BM-319 I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it. The base color for these nails is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On. The neon colors (Of course I used neons! They're the best!) I used China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Towel Boy Toy, Pool Party, and Kiwi Cool-Ada. All part of the Poolside Collection. I applied stripes of polish onto the plate and scraped in the same direction and applied it to my nails first vertically, and then horizontally. I was so shocked when I saw how awesome it actually looked.

New 2012 Bundle Monster Plates

 Here they are! The new Bundle Monster stamping plates 2012 collection! You can order them on Amazon here. Or you can get them from Bundle Monster here. You get 25 plates for $21.99. So far I haven't used too many of the plates, but so far the ones I have used work perfectly and I have no problems with them. They do come with a blue plastic sheeting on all the plates and you have to peel it off. It can sometimes be difficult to get off, but be patient and they should come off soon enough.

The plates all have a paper backing on them to keep them from cutting you. Without the backing they are extremely sharp and can practically cut off your fingers. Okay, so I exaggerated a little... but they are kind of wicked.

Shattered Glass

 I wanted to do some nail art today, but I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous China Glaze Atlantis that I put on today. So I did a quick stamp using the new Bundle Monster plates! I used Bundle Monster plate BM-312 and the color I stamped with was Sinful Colors Snow Me White. And of course I followed it up with some Out The Door top coat.

As soon as I saw the finished product it reminded me of shattered glass and it looks so awesome. I will be taking photos of the Bundle Monster plates and I might be doing a video testing them out. I'm not sure about the video yet, but the photos of the plates are definitely a go and will be up as soon as I get a change to do it. I've been slacking in the area of nail art lately since I haven't been feeling well.

Bubbly Squares Over A Gradient

Here's a quick design that I put together a couple days ago. I love how the pattern blends into the gradient. These nails were almost impossible to photograph, so I apologize for some not so great pictures.

 The colors I used for the gradient were Sinful Colors Cloud 9 and Sinful Colors Courtney Orange. These polishes work flawlessly together to make a perfect gradient.


I used Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-223 and stamped the pattern using Sinful Colors Timbleberry. This color was perfect because it's very opaque so you can still see it across the whole nail, but it almost blends in with the darker orange.
