Purple Stuff by I Love Nail Polish Swatches

What's up polish loving peeps? I have Purple Stuff by I Love Nail Polish (also called I ♥ NP or I ♥ Nail Polish) to share with you! I really love this polish it's so pretty! I used to hate purple, but I'm starting to notice that I secretly really love it. Looks like I'll be buying some new purple polishes!

Purple Stuff is a clear based glitter polish with a lovely combination of purple, wine, periwinkle, and white glitters. They are in square, hex, and there are even white bar glitters. Some people hate bar glitter, and I'm usually guilty of being a bar hater, but I love the little white bars in this polish! I think it gives it a nice original kick. It also has some micro glitters in it as well.

Of course, if you've seen my other I Love Nail Polish reviews, you know that it has the same awesome packaging with the rubber cap and the wide brush! I love everything about the packaging!

What I have on my nails is one coat of Purple Stuff over China Glaze Light As Air. This polish is meant to be a topper, which means that it is made to be worn over another color and it will be very hard to build up to wear on it's own. I also have a coat of Out The Door top coat on in the photos below.

The application is a little bit tricky on this one. The glitters pulled with the brush when I tried to apply it. If you read my previous I Love Nail Polish review post on Babes In Toyland, I figured out that if I dip the brush in then leave it air dry for a few seconds, it makes the base a little tacky so then the glitters didn't drag with the brush when I was applying it. It's very effective with most glitter polishes actually!

I did need to move the glitter pieces around just a little bit, but it was relatively easy to do. The brush had plenty of glitter pieces on it so it was just a matter of getting them evenly spread across the nail so they weren't all in one spot.

The glitter lays flat to the nail so one coat of top coat should completely smooth it out.

I noticed if you look really close, you can actually see a slight pattern on the darker square glitter. Maybe I'm just crazy, or my eyes are playing tricks on me, but I think it looks so cool!

What do you guys think? I love it! It's feeding my newly formed purple addiction!

Babes In Toyland by I Love Nail Polish Swatches

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!! Sadly, my team isn't one of the teams playing this year. I'm a Steelers fan! With that said, I'm hoping the Ravens win! Come on Baltimore!!

I have another gorgeous glitter polish to show you from I Love Nail Polish (also shown as I ♥ NP or I ♥ Nail Polish). It's called Babes In Toyland. Such an adorable name!

I'm still loving the packaging for these polishes. It's so cute, and professional. Not to mention the awesome caps on these bottles. They have a rubbery finish which makes them very easy to hold.

Babes In Toyland is a super cute mixture of green, fuchsia, blue, and gold glitters. The glitters are in different shapes such as round, hex and square and they are also in different sizes. All of the glitter is suspended in a 3 free clear suspension base. The colors are absolutely gorgeous together and the different shapes and sizes work so well together! I have one coat of Babes in Toyland over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On.

I put it over white just so you all could see the different colors and shapes, but this polish would look amazing over other colors as well!

This polish is really easy to apply if you apply it in slightly thick layers. The glitters drag slightly with the brush so you will have to move them around a little bit in order for the pieces to be all over your nail, but it's not difficult to do. I Love Nail Polish brushes are nice and wide so it makes it much easier to apply the polish as well.

I figured out that if you pull the brush out of the bottle and just let it air dry for a few seconds it allows the clear base to get tacky so then you can apply it to the nail and the glitters stick to the base and then they don't move around as much with the brush. I discovered that completely on accident because I had to pause to respond to a text message and when I continued I noticed a huge difference in application. See? Distractions aren't always a bad thing!

The glitter pieces do lay flush with the nail, but I still recommend using a top coat just to make everything shiny and smooth. I used Out The Door top coat.

This polish has great glitter coverage with just one coat, but you can definitely add more than one if you like a fuller glitter look.

Overall, I can definitely recommend this polish. I love the color combination and the different shapes of glitter. It's such a fun mix!

All Gold Everything by I Love Nail Polish Swatches

Hello internet blog reading friends! I hope you are all having a happy day or evening! I have an awesome indie/boutique nail polish to share with you!

This gorgeous polish is All Gold Everything by I Love Nail Polish (also shown as I ♥ NP or I ♥ Nail Polish). This polish is part of the New Year's Collection. It really is everything golden and it's gorgeous! There's such a mix of different size and shape glitter in here that I can't even pick it all out. The most noticeable are round glitters, hex glitters, and small fine glitters, but trust me, this polish is PACKED full of goodness. Some of the pieces are holographic as well so you will sometimes see a flash of a completely different color other than gold. Amazing!

The packaging for all of of the ILNP products are so cute! I went a little bottle photo crazy, but I couldn't resist!

For these photos I have two coats of Wet n Wild Black Creme (Wild Shine line) with one coat of All Gold Everything and a coat of Out The Door. These nails were a little bit difficult to photograph because my camera was so overwhelmed with all of the sparkle. This is a polish that you definitely have to see in person to truly appreciate!

The application for this polish is outstanding!! No adjusting of glitter was necessary and only one coat was needed to get a nice covered look. If you really wanted to, you could wear this on it's own, but I highly recommend using it as a topper. The glitter also lays pretty flush with the nail so it's not too bumpy and as long as you use top coat you won't even know that you have glitter on your nails. The consistency was also amazing. It wasn't too thick or thin like a lot of other glitter polishes that I've used.

The brush for these polishes are fantastic! They are nice and wide. Kind of like OPIs brush, but what's even better about these is that the brush cap is rubberized! That means you can really get a grip on it. I wish all of my polishes would have a rubberized cap!
