New Years Eve Nail Art + Tutorial

A new year is right around the corner! Are your nails ready for the occasion? I can't believe how quickly 2014 flew by. Ever since I graduated high school in 2011, I feel like I was thrown into a world that's in turbo fast forward mode. I hope everyone had a fantastic 2014, and an even better 2015! Now, let's get into this nail art!

I love black, gold, and glitter for new years. It's classic, fun and super sparkly! So, that's what I decided to do to my nails, but I wanted to keep it relatively simple. I started with a black base polish. I used Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme. It's cheap and ridiculously shiny. I also used China Glaze Blonde Bombshell for the gold glitter triangles. I sectioned off my nail using some scotch tape and then filled in the area with the polish. For the glitter placement nail I used gold, round, holographic glitter that I believe was from Born Pretty Store. It was sent to me a long time ago, so I have no clue how you'd go about finding it on the site. It came with other colors as well. I topped everything off with Out The Door top coat.

That's pretty much all I have to say for this post. I went a little photo crazy this time. Come on! You can't blame me! These nails are SO pretty! Enjoy the rest of the photos. :) Also, don't forget to check out the video tutorial below if you want to learn how to recreate this design.
