Galaxy Nails

Hey everyone! This blog post is a little different than my usual posts. I'm doing this from my iPhone because I currently don't have a computer. I have no idea how large or small this photo is going to be so I hope it's not microscopic and that you can actually see it. So frustrating. Both my PC and Mike's Mac crashed on me. The Mac can't keep Photoshop or Premiere open and my SD card reader on my PC is fried. I ordered a new computer this past weekend and it will be here around the 19th of this month. I'm basically checking the status of my order every day, multiple times, because I'm so impatient and excited to get it. Anyway... Nail art... That's what you're here for.

This nail art was done very late at night. I didn't record the process nor did I write down what polishes I used. Yikes, I know. I'm sorry! I had no intention of them turning out this awesome and then... BOOM. Awesome nails.

The galaxy nails started with a black base. And then I used a makeup sponge to sponge on various colors. The silver glitter nails have two different products. First, I painted them with a silver holographic polish. One from China Glaze. It's the one from the Hologlam collection. Then I used some loose glitter from Wet 'n' Wild. It's the Fantasy Makers holographic glitter that they always release around Halloween. I picked up two bottles of it and I'm SO glad I did because it's really easy to work with and it looks awesome.

I'll definitely have to try to recreate this design and record it for a tutorial because a lot of people have asked me to make a tutorial for it already. Hope everyone had a great week! Have a fun and safe weekend!
