Ombre Frosting Drip Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a great Monday! I have frosting drip nails to share with you today. I wore this design on my 22nd birthday in December, but I didn't take photos or record a tutorial. I could have kicked myself too. The best nail art always happens when I don't photograph or record it. Oh well! I decided to recreate it, and although it's not as good as the first time, it still looks cool. I know a lot of people have done nail art like this before, and it's nothing new, but I thought everyone would be interested in seeing it anyway.

I decided to use China Glaze It's a Trap-Eze for the frosting and it was a terrible idea. It was so difficult to work with because there's so much glitter in that polish that it gets super chunky as it dries. All of the colors I used in this design are in the photo above and they're all by China Glaze
From left to right:
  • Be More Pacific
  • Shore Enuff
  • Too Yacht To Handle
  • Wait N' Sea
  • I Sea The Point
  • It's a Trap-Eze!
I also used Butter London's Matte Finish top coat as well as Out The Door top coat. I applied the "frosting" with a dotting tool because it was the easiest way to apple it since it was chunky, and then I outlined it with black acrylic paint using a small nail art brush.

I that's all I have to say about this design. If you want to see exactly how I did this, feel free to watch the video tutorial below. :) Have a great week everyone!
