Madam Glam Petunia : Swatch and Review

Hello! This post is dedicated to a beautiful polish that is a million times prettier in person. This is Petunia by Madam Glam. It is a pinkish, purple nail polish with a glittery, shimmery base as well as larger silver holographic glitters.

This was pretty sheer on the first coat and I was a little worried that it was going to take a million coats to get it to look like the bottle color. Although it was sheer, it was easy to apply and the color built up relatively quickly. The second coat was slightly streaky and I could still see my nail in a few places so I added a third coat. The third coat made it absolutely gorgeous! It was nice and opaque and the glitter and shimmer was outstanding.

The one problem that I had with this polish was getting the silver holographic glitters on the nail. As you can see in the photo above, a majority of the glitters were at the bottom of the bottle. With the first coat of this polish there were barely any of the larger glitter. I turned the bottle upside on the cap and left it like that for a few minutes to allow the glitter to fall down. Right before I was ready to do the second and third coats I quickly flipped it upright, rolled it between my hands a few times and then continued with the application. This worked great for me and I was able to get a lot more glitters out of it.

Madam Glam polishes are available at http://madamglam.com and they are $8.95. I definitely would recommend these polishes to anyone. They are awesome quality for the price!
