Edgy Studs and Skull Nail Art Inspired by Clothing From Deb Shops

Happy Monday guys! I know, I know... Mondays are rough and it's hard to go back to work and school after a great weekend, but that just means there is another awesome weekend coming your way! This blog post is filled with lots of goodies today! I have some nail art and even an OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) photo slide show!

This edgy studded skull nail art design was inspired by an outfit that I have from Deb Shops

This doesn't show the outfit at all, but I adore this picture!
This entire outfit can be purchased at Deb Shops online! I absolutely love everything about this outfit. It's edgy, but it's still cute and not too over the top.

The shirt is covered with studs and rhinestones on the front while the back remains a solid black. In the shoulder area, the fabric is slightly more sheer, but don't worry, that's the only part of the shirt that you are able to see through slightly. I love how this shirt fits me, it's lightweight and flow-y which makes it super comfortable! Like this shirt just as much as I do? You can get it HERE!

The are ombre, or dip dyed if you prefer to call it that instead. They go from a very light gray to a darker charcoal gray. The button of the shorts have a clear rhinestone accent. There are also two clear rhinestone accents near the front pockets. The fabric is soft and flexible and not rigid which I LOVE. Want to rock these ombre/dip dyed shorts yourself? You can find them HERE. They also come in turquoise if you want a pop of color!

And last but not least... because you can't finish an outfit without shoes... (Am I right ladies?) I chose these awesome black studded and spiked flat sandals! All of you may be underestimating how much I love these. They're not quite gladiator sandals, but they definitely make an edgy statement! These are super comfortable as well and I plan on wearing them more than I probably should! You can find these sandals HERE.

To match my nails to my outfit I used a ton of studs! I couldn't resist. I covered my index and middle finger in round studs, square studs, and rhinestones of all different sizes. Some of them are silver and some of them are gold. If you're looking for a great place to get nail art studs and rhinestones like these check out Born Pretty Store. You can use the coupon code GDL91 to get 10% off your order.

On my thumb I did a simple little skull and added two small silver studs on both sides of it.

I left my ring and pinky finger solid black since there was so much going on with all my other nails.

The black polish I used is Wet 'n Wild Black Creme from the Wild Shine line. The skull was hand painted using a small nail art brush and white acrylic paint. I applied all of the studs using a dotting tool dipped into top coat. The top coat I used to apply the rhinestones as well as seal in the entire design is Out The Door.

I sure hope you are just using that motorcycle as a backdrop and are not planning to get on it wearing sandals and shorts! Having had a bad cycle accident wearing jeans and boots and losing lots and lots of skin I hope you will not ever ride inappropriately dressed! Love the manicure tho.
